Introduction

The Shipmate Carrier Integration for ShipHero allows you to directly process shipments through Shipmate from within ShipHero.

This guide explains how to connect ShipHero to Shipmate and explains the settings you can configure for shipment handling.

Requirements

Before you are able to start printing shipping labels using Shipmate with ShipHero, you will need the following:

• A ShipHero account
• A Shipmate account
• At least one active Carrier and Delivery Service
• A compatible label printer

Labels are printed from within ShipHero itself, so any printer configuration should be made within ShipHero. Please refer to help guides provided by ShipHero to set this up.

Add ShipHero Connection

To connect your ShipHero account to Shipmate, you will need the following details:

• Your ShipHero Account ID – you may need to ask your account manager at ShipHero for this
• Your ShipHero "default" API Secret – you can obtain this from your ShipHero account in the API Credentials section

With these details to hand, carry out the following steps to connect ShipHero to Shipmate:

Inside Shipmate:

1. Navigate to the Settings area of your Shipmate account.

2. Click the Sales Channels option under the Orders section.

3. Click the New Channel button or Add a Sales Channel option to start the process of adding a new Channel.

4. Click the ShipHero option.

5. Provide a name for your integration, supply the ShipHero Account ID and ShipHero API Secret and click Connect.

Linking Delivery Services

You can link the delivery service names you have inside ShipHero to Delivery Services within Shipmate from the Delivery Service Links tab of the ShipHero Channel Settings.

For each Delivery Service you wish to link, provide the Delivery Service Key from within ShipHero in the left-hand text entry field, then select the Delivery Service you want to map this to using the right-hand drop-down menu.

You can add multiple links using the ( + ) add icon on the right-hand side of the last row, or remove links using the ( – ) remove icon from each row.

Click the Save button to save your configuration.
